Assessment of Conformity to Design
Assessment of conformity to design usually comprises site visits to manufacturing sites at strategic stages during the manufacturing process to determine that the final design matches that subject to design review. Manufacturer’s quality systems and documentation are also audited as part of the conformity assessment. Further conformity inspection is also performed on-site prior to the initial test.
