HSEC is a registered UK Fairground Inspection body and is a member of the National Association for Leisure Industry Certification (NAFLIC) and provides specific services under Service Quality Schedules generally in accordance with BS EN 45004. We are registered to carry out these services under the ADIPS scheme. We have over ten years of experience in the industry and provide a thorough, professional and cost effective service to fairground device manufacturers and operators - from the operator of the smallest children's ride to multi-million pound roller coasters for major theme parks. Our services include: Safety Policies - Advising on safety organisation and drafting of safety policies and procedures covering operations and maintenance of rides. Design Review - Formal design reviews as required by HSG175, Fairgrounds & Amusement Parks; Guidance on Safe Practice. Risk Assessment - HSEC has developed a methodology and checklist to assist our risk assessments on those rides which are already in service but which have not been subject to design review. Annual Thorough Examination - Thorough Examination of existing rides to comply with ADIPS requirements for an annual examination of all fairground and amusement devices. Assessment of Conformity - Detailed assessments of the conformity of rides to the original designs. Containment Assessment - Specialist engineering and ergonomic assessments of the containment systems for rides. Research - Undertaking projects, particularly on critical risk areas such as containment research to improve the design and assessment of protection systems.
