Roof Support Risk Assessment
HSEC were employed to assist in a risk assessment of a new electronic roof support system for use in a series of Australian longwall mining applications. HSEC’s role in the investigation was to:
Act as a coordinator during the risk assessment meetings
Collate the results of the risk assessment
Prepare a draft copy of the report
Collate comments made by the customer
Issue a final report
HSEC were able to identify various areas where there was potential for improvement, and propose actions for the customer to undertake in order to implement them.
