Following an accident, a multinational glass and glass product manufacturer had faced criticism on the suitability of the risk assessments which they had carried out. HSEC performed a complete risk assessment of a products line which required expertise in mechanical & electrical engineering, as well as occupational hygiene. Recommendations for improvement to the risk assessment process, as well as specific suggestions for changes to guarding systems were then proposed.
