Feasibility of underground transport
system
Feasibility, design and specification for the
underground transport of mineral, materials and
men to a new area of reserves accessed from an
existing drift. HSEC also provided similar
services for the electrical power distribution
system including the design, specification and
technical contract management of a new in-feed
substation.
Technicians Safety Refresher
Training
HSEC develop and deliver courses covering safety
hazards, safety procedures, safe lifting
operations and lessons from incidents for
mechanical and electrical craftsmen in the
mining industry. UK Coal requires all such
craftsmen to complete the course every three
years. The course is updated to reflect the
latest procedures and equipment and include pre
and post course assessments. HSEC Ltd has been
providing these courses over the last seven
years.
