Winder Testing
HSEC are the principle provider in the UK of Dynamic Testing of Winding Engines to meet the requirements of the ACOP to the Shafts & Winding Regulations. The service includes six monthly standard tests, additional tests required as a result of changes to the braking system, assessments of the condition of guide ropes and additional support on winding and haulage systems. Experienced test engineers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for testing and to provide telephone advice. Clients pay a fixed monthly fee per winder with a small charge per site visit to cover travelling costs.
Comprehensive services are provided to UK Coal and Tower Colliery. Similar testing has been undertaken for international clients.
